Leede Exploration, an independent oil and gas exploration company, leased spce for new offices in the top floors of a multi-story suburban office building. A sense of openness throughout the offices was requested to capitalize on the distant views.
The offices were designed with support areas wrapping the building core allowing secretarial and private offices to remain largely open to the distant views. Extensive use of internal glazing and the absence of tiles in the ceiling grid contribute to the sense of openness in the work areas. Walls wrapping the core area were left as free of openings as possible to prvide hanging space for the client's extensive art collection.
