After
serving the Permian Basin for thirty years The
Presidential Museum sought a permanent home for its collection. The new
facility will join the Presidential Museum with the University of Texas of the
Permian Basin Campus and the Ellen Noël Art Museum district to create a
cultural district with emphasis on research and public education. The 15,000
s.f. Presidential Museum will include museum exhibit areas, collections storage,
a multipurpose auditorium and library. The museum features a sky-lit rotunda
which welcomes visitors and provides access to the exhibit area, auditorium
and library.
